Suede Aces is a rock band deeply rooted in the grit and soul of old-school rock, blended with modern blues and a fresh edge. Their sound channels vintage rock vibes, raw emotion, and energetic performances, bridging the past and present of rock music.

Formed in 2022, the band quickly made waves with their honest songwriting and electrifying live shows. Their debut album, Suede Aces (No. 1), released August 15, 2025, delivers 11 tracks filled with gritty riffs, smoky vocals, and a raw, authentic sound.

The band is fronted by vocalist Lily Slix, whose raspy, soulful delivery captures the spirit of legends like Janis Joplin and Tina Turner. Guitarist Darrin Bell and drummer Tommy Bell, brothers bound by both blood and a shared passion for music, fuel the band's hard-hitting sound.

The band's roots go back to their youth in Sayreville, New Jersey, where Darrin and Tommy’s musical bond was forged and strengthened. Lily, who grew up in a nearby town, met the Bell brothers through a mutual family connection, and the chemistry was undeniable. Together, they began making music that combines their deep love of classic rock and the blues, drawing influence from iconic bands and artists like Led Zeppelin, Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Tina Turner.

With their hard-hitting riffs, powerful vocals, and soulful grooves, Suede Aces have already made their mark in the New Jersey music scene. They’ve opened for rock legends Steven Adler of Guns N’ Roses and Slaughter at Starland Ballroom, a beloved New Jersey venue. They’ve also graced the stage at the world-famous Stone Pony, a legendary spot for rock fans and musicians alike. Notably, Lily and Darrin shared the stage with Rachel Bolan of Skid Row at The Stone Pony, marking one of their many memorable moments in the spotlight. The band even took their sound to Nashville, performing at Jon Bon Jovi's club, proving that their rock 'n' roll swagger resonates far beyond their hometown.

As they continue to rise, Suede Aces are a band to watch—blending the timeless energy of classic rock with their own modern edge, all while honouring the greats who paved the way.
